  • Demand-side

The procedures and actions aimed to assess, in individuals and populations, the change in nutrient intake that can be attributed to the consumption of fortified foods. The objectives are to track the additional amount of MN introduced into fortified food, the coverage of the fortified food in the population, and the amount of the food that is consumed. Consumption monitoring is formerly known as household/individual monitoring.
