Definition
The actions taken by food processing operators and quality management personnel to ensure that A) foods are manufactured in a manner that should achieve the specifications of the fortification standard and B) the final product adheres to the all other requirements mentioned in the food standard. It includes both quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures.
